Here’s How to Measure Ring Size at Home!
You might not have the time to come into Ken K. for sizing, but there are still ways you can figure out your lover’s ring size. With a few simple tools you can find around the house, you can get a correct ring measurement and bring it in-store to us when you are ready to make your purchase. You’ll need either a piece of paper or a piece of string, cut to a size that would easily fit around the finger, as well as a marker and ruler.
Use the paper or string to wrap around the base of the ring finger. Not too tight or too loose! You want the ring to be comfortable and not cut off circulation. Once you wrap your string or paper around the finger, use the marker to mark where the end meets the middle of the paper or string. Now use the ruler to measure how long this distance is in millimeters. For a more exact size, you can repeat this process several times and find an average of all the numbers found.
Your Very Own Printable Ring Size Chart Is Here!
If all else fails, there are printable ring size charts available! Here is our very own printable ring size chart that you can use. Similar to the ring or paper method, wrap this around the base of their finger and line up the end to the corresponding size.
Ring Size Chart (cm.)
There are two ring sizing metrics, one being in the metric system. Measure the circumference of the ring finger in millimeters (mm) and find the corresponding ring size. This ring size chart makes it easy to explore the various ring sizes and pick which one works best for you.
Ring Size Chart (in.)
On the other hand, you can measure ring sizes in inches in the U.S. customary system, again measuring the circumference of the ring finger and finding the corresponding ring size. Whether you use the metric system or the U.S. customary system, you are sure to find a size that fits.
